PRCOME CANCELLED
With the downturn in the economy, the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music will no longer be able to present the PRCOME conference in August.
According to their Chancellor, Maria del Carmen Gil, "the Conservatory almost received a 75% budget cut for 2009-10" as part of a government that "has fired thousands of employees."
This is obviously very disappointing, but being an entrepreneur, I remain optimistic that another venue can be found for a future conference.
